We hold two ‘meet the brewer’ events where customers can come to the pub and listen to a talk from a local brewer about their business and products. For £6, customers can try a number of beers from Mauldons. The event will take place from 19:00 on 8 February 2024, with more details coming soon. Mauldons are the oldest brewery in Suffolk and have been brewing ales since 1795.

The second in our ‘meet the brewer’ evenings was on 12 January 2024 with John from Humber Doucy brewery. The event proved popular and we permanently stock all of the bottled beers from Humber Doucy.

Meet the Brewer – Boudicca We have a series of ‘meet the brewer’ events and our first is an evening with Emma Pinder, the owner of Boudicca Brewing. The event is being held on Thursday 28 December and there is further information here.
