We’re having an evening at the Star starting from 19:30 where there’s a discussion about the history of the pub. Not just the building itself, but also about past customers and publicans who have become part of the pub’s history.
Anthony Foreman, a village historian who has written a number of books about Lidgate, will be giving an introduction to the heritage of the building. We encourage others with memories of the pub to come along.
