The West Suffolk area is popular with cyclists who want to explore the historic churches, quiet country lanes and countryside pubs such as the Lidgate Star. Komoot has a number of routes for cyclists in the local area.
From late January 2024, the Lidgate Star will be offering a £5 offer for a coffee and cake offer for cyclists (and indeed anyone else!) between 11:00 and 16:00 alongside our usual lunchtime menu. During the winter months we have our real fires on to keep warm mid cycle ride, and in the warmer months sit outside in the warm.
Cycling groups are welcome to visit the pub at any time, although let us know in advance if we can help with any special requests!
The pub is open from 16:00 to 23:00 on Mondays to Fridays and from 12:00 to 23:00 on Saturdays and Sundays.
Pizzas are served from 18:30 until 22:00 on Mondays to Fridays and from 17:00 until 22:00 on Saturdays and Sundays. Cold plates such as charcuterie boards and filled rolls are available on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. We are launching a new weekend menu in late 2024.
